The AirHMI Panel PC 7" Resistive is an enclosed, plug-and-play HMI operator panel that runs on the same 24V line as the PLC and field devices. The 7-inch, 800 × 480 display is the most popular size for machine and panel applications; it comfortably shows menus, values and charts on a single screen.
RS485 and Modbus RTU are standard; it communicates directly with devices such as PLCs, drives and meters. If a network connection is needed, the Ethernet model of the same size can be chosen. Thanks to its pressure-sensitive resistive touch surface, it can also be operated with gloves or a stylus.
Resistive touch is preferred in workshops and production areas where the operator wears gloves, in dusty or humid environments and in applications that require stylus use. For panels used without gloves where appearance matters most, you may also consider the capacitive version of the same size; the differences are explained in our resistive vs. capacitive touch guide.
The screen shown in the images is a sample motor control panel interface; the interface is designed entirely for your project.
